Back of House Producer
Pre-Service Room and System Setup
Oversee the whole weekend workflow, from room startup and volunteer readiness to recording, exports, and delivery.
Related checklist items
- Check in on the iPad in the Green Room for both services.
- Use Q-Sys Control on the iPad to turn on the control room multiviewers, backstage TVs, and projectors.
- Make sure HyperDeck SSDs are installed and still have space.
- Make sure video announcements have been transferred from the server to CG2.
- On the router panel at `Front Desk / Ultracore RCP-ME`, press `RESET` and then `TAKE` to route all small monitors in the control room.
- Turn the MicBoard TV on backstage and refresh the images.
- Make sure video announcements are loaded into Pro Video Player.
- Make sure the Green Room Clear-Com wall panel volume is up.
- Make sure the confidence monitors are turned on.
- Grab a radio, turn it on, and keep it with you for the day.
- Make sure the small video screen on the HyperDeck is showing the Program feed.
- Make sure the `ControlBoH` computer can connect to the HyperDeck.
- Make sure Dante Controller is properly routed so `AllenHth-DM64 | VIDEO SUITE L/R` goes to `RedNetAM2-VideoSuite | Left/Right`.

Pre-Service CG, Cameras, and Planning Center
Oversee the whole weekend workflow, from room startup and volunteer readiness to recording, exports, and delivery.

- Turn on cameras 1 and 2 and make sure focus and zoom are calibrated.
- Set up camera 6.
- Turn on CG1 and set the Planning Center link to the current weekend.
- Make sure the setlist has not changed since the songs were originally programmed.
- Make sure the looks are set up correctly for each song and sermon.
- Make sure lyrics are showing on the LED wall.
- Make sure all cameras are turned on, working, and have the correct settings. Test cameras 3, 4, and 5, then turn them back off until needed.
- Check Planning Center and assign camera operators to camera positions.
- Enter the correct announcement-video time in Planning Center.
- Make sure the speaker timer is set correctly for the speaker preference.

After Weekend Recording and Ingest
Oversee the whole weekend workflow, from room startup and volunteer readiness to recording, exports, and delivery.
Related checklist items
- Make sure recording has been stopped on the HyperDeck.
- Take the SSD from the weekend out of the HyperDeck and insert it into the SSD reader behind the livestream host monitors.
- If the drive does not show up on the `ControlBoH` computer, power-cycle the SSD reader.
- Open Adobe Premiere on `ControlBoH` and load the `Sermons2` project.
- If Premiere asks you to find media from the previous week, click `Offline All`.
- Delete old media and sequences if you want a fresh project, or keep them if you need to reference the previous week.
- Drag the sermon and worship video files you want from the SSD into the Premiere Project panel.
- Create a new sequence, place the service clips in it, and rename the sequence `Full Service`.
- Trim the beginning and end of the clips, make sure the first clip starts at the beginning of the sequence, and add cross dissolves at the start and end so the video fades up from black and back to black.
- Fix anything in the worship or sermon that needs cleanup.
- From Finder, go to `Creative Arts > Ministries > Communications > Announcements > Current Weekend Assets` on the Synology and add the weekend `Closer` video to the end of the sequence.
- Add music under the closer. Use the band playing out when available, or use walk-in or walkout music recorded before or after service.
- Duplicate the sequence and rename the copy `Message Only`.
- In the `Message Only` sequence, find the silence between the bumper ending and the speaker beginning to talk, press `c`, and cut the video after the bumper.
- Delete everything before the message starts, then delete the empty space so the message shifts to the beginning of the sequence.

- Queue the `Message Only` sequence to export in Adobe Media Encoder by pressing `cmd-m`, setting the location to `Production > Captures > YEAR > MONTH > DATE`, confirming the format is `H.264`, and sending it to Media Encoder.
- Queue the `Full Service` sequence the same way and send it to Media Encoder.
- In Media Encoder, duplicate both queued items, move the duplicates to the top, and change their format to `MP3`.
- Start exporting all four queued items. The two MP3s usually finish quickly and can run while you shut down the rest of the room.

Weekend Shutdown and Delivery

Related checklist items
- Make sure all cameras are turned off and put away.
- In the Q-Sys Admin tab, click `All TVs off`.
- Make sure the projectors, MicBoard, confidence monitors, Green Room TVs, and all monitors in the video suite are off.
- Make sure batteries and headsets are on chargers and seated correctly.
- On the router panel at `Front Desk / Ultracore RCP-ME`, press `BLACKOUT` and then `TAKE` to route all small monitors in the control room.
- Upload the MP3 files to Randy's OneDrive using the Chrome shortcut `2023 - OneDrive`, the current series folder, and a new folder named in `YYYY-MM-DD` format.
- Shut the monitors off but let the exports continue running.
- After the video files finish exporting, upload both `.MP4` files to YouTube from the `Channel content -...` Chrome shortcut while logged in as Rock Point Church.
- Rename the videos, choose the current series playlist, add the week's Big Idea to the description, upload the correct custom thumbnail, and confirm the right `Full Service` or `Message Only` playlist.
- Leave the rest of the YouTube settings at the default values.
- The communications team takes the podcast files and YouTube videos from there.
